Mercantile Row is a thoughtfully designed, mixed-use development in downtown Cartersville that blends historic preservation with new construction to create a walkable, garden-forward community.

At its center is the adaptive reuse of a 15,000+ square-foot 1925 industrial warehouse, transformed into two restaurant spaces and seven loft-style apartments. Above, rooftop dining offers a unique experience overlooking Downtown Cartersville.

Adjacent to the historic building are fifteen architecturally designed townhomes that open onto private gardens—quiet, enclosed green spaces set within the urban fabric. The project also includes three live/work units, with ground-floor retail and residences above, arranged around a shared courtyard for outdoor dining.

The project is guided by a simple belief: buildings and towns last a long time, so it is worth taking the trouble to build them thoughtfully. Each element is intentionally designed to create moments of beauty, pockets of community, and a meaningful relationship between private and shared space.
